It takes a lot to turn our heads now that we've poured over 128 unique beers during our first year, but this seasonal collaboration is something truly special. Born from a partnership between Heart of Darkness and Saigon Cider's founder for International Women's Week, The Queen's Pineapple Pale Ale has rightfully claimed its throne in our fridges.
Brewed with incredibly sweet Queen Victoria Pineapples sourced straight from the Mekong Delta's Tien Giang province, this 5.7% ABV pale ale is highly fruit-centric while still keeping its beer identity intact. Fresh pineapple aromatics jump out of the glass immediately, mingling with bright tropical hops to deliver waves of ripe citrus and soft tropical fruit.
It pours light-bodied with a perfectly balanced 30 IBU bitterness, meaning it finishes crisp, juicy, and immensely refreshing. Whether you're hiding from the intense afternoon heat or just looking for a highly drinkable, flavourful pint, this love letter to Vietnam's local ingredients absolutely hits the spot.
